The Ganesh Puja that was planned to be held on Aug-23 has been cancelled. With the spread of swine flu, large gathering needed to be avoided, and hence this Puja function has been cancelled. We understand that so many Oriyas and others were so excited to attend the function, as we in Utkal Samaj were, but if this is was the wish of Lord Ganesh, we go by it.

Hi Friends. I hope you have started utilizing my tips on ‘How to tame ONLINE CAT’, in your Mock tests. And I hope the tips are turning out to be useful.
I will like to hear from you if those tips are working in your benefit.
Today, I have good news for all of you, especially for those who have written a few mock tests and are not able to see any improvement in percentiles. We (Zion Education + MBAtues.com) have designed a special test series called NAT CAT for you. This test series is pretty different from the test series you people must already be enrolled in. At the same time this test series has all the features of a normal test series.
Let me tell you the features of NAT CAT. First of all, this test series has been designed by a group of 50+ teachers in CAT/MBA training sector. This team has a cumulative experience of over 250 years and it includes people like me, who have taught over 25000 students in past 14 years.
Secondly, every test in this test series has been designed after studying past 15 CATs. And in accordance to CAT, every test will be a mix of strategic questions which means that questions will not be always difficult. The test series will give you a REAL taste of CAT with respect to deceptiveness, with respect to strategy formulation, with respect to checking various skills which CAT checks like visualization, reading between lines, time management, strategy formulation.

Hi, Few days back one MBA aspirant asked me whether there is any ebook version of this site? At first I told her that there is no such thing. But her comment really made me think and forced me to release an ebook version of this site. Also as many people don’t have internet connection at their home, therefore they cannot enjoy the benefit of this site in the comfort of their house. Hello students and I am back again to help you with your preparation for the CAT and other MBA examinations. This time, we will focus on how to get command over this reading comprehension, and make the mark in the competition. But before we proceed with that, there are few facts, that i would like to throw some light at , so that you may know why is it so important to pay special attention to these reading comprehension part. As we all know that the verbal section in CAT or any other exam for that matter is divided into both reading comprehension and verbal ability. But over the years changes have been observed in the pattern. Nowadays the numbers of questions are much lesser than what they use to be before. As a matter of fact, CAT 2006 saw only 25 questions on verbal ability out of these only 15 were from the reading comprehension part.  Now the point of mentioning is this , that now we have to rethink our strategy according to the changing patterns plus CAT going  online this year makes the change in strategy even more than necessary. But it’s nothing to worry about if you are well prepared.

Communication skills still count

By this time we have read five articles in X factor and we must have got something which can benefit us in our preparation. So what do you think that  have you learned everything which is important to get into top B- schools? If yes then please forgive me there is still something left you all want to know. Let’s hear from the mouth of Vega. She is a girl who always topped mocks but she forgets one thing. As every good student think if he is performing well in verbal section, he  has good communication skills. Friend’s communication is all very different scenarios. Take case of World champion speakers- they are educated but they are not topper’s in their time in their schools or college. Communication is an art which we have to learn through others’ experience yes friends & that Vega forgot at that moment. See what happened she cleared FMS written two times but she was out of the league in group discussion & personal interview. Lot of students assume that three months are enough after written exam what we get for GD/PI prep and they think that they will going to get every help by coaching institutes what they require for interview. Friends it’s a long process of transforming oneself into a personality who when speaks others stare and keeps quite for that time. If this happens then assume that you have learned the art of saying something worthwhile. So I thought that I must share this secret which has transformed million’s of life & can benefit you all also & which has started working for Vega also. Yes my dear students there is something called Toastmaster near us but we don’t know because we have never realized that we need something like that in our life. Let’s hear some thing from the mouth of Vega why Toast master is important in our life.
